recognition, pronunciation, and syllabication.
www.scootpad.com This is a website where students can do assignments, respond to questioning and take tests. It uses common core standards and gives reports on what standard needs interventions on.
www.brainpopjr.com This site has video clips for grammar, writing, and comprehension. It is a great resource to add to your mini lessons. These videos stop and question students throughout making notebooking fun!
Intermediate (4-5th)

with authors, post book reviews, watch videos of interviews with authors and
celebrities, play games, and get advice on writing and publishing.
www.studyisland.com This site offers web-based instruction, practice, assessment and reporting built for your state‘s instructional standards in Reading, Writing, Math, Social Science and Science.The lessons are both rigorous and engaging. This website does require a subscription.
www.weeklyreader.com/kids This site is a great companion to the Weekly Reader classroom magazine. Students can do crosswords, play math games, color online, take quizzes and more.

www.teensreadtoo.com This site highlights high interest books for teens. they can read and exerpt from the featured books, read author bios, contact the author, blog about the books, do book reviews, and watch creative videos that trigger interest in reading. This site is a good place for building student interest in reading.

research and you need help creating your reference page, this is the site for you. No matter which format you need, or the type of resource, the citation machine will help you cite your source correctly. Just choose your resource type and fill in the fields. The citation machine will format your citation and you
simply copy and paste it into your reference page.

of Jefferson Labs.

All of the books are categorized to make it easy to find one that interests you. Each selection gives a summary and a link to activities and many can be translated into different
